The Didcot Pendant draws on the tradition of Victorian spinner pendants — private tokens carried during Queen Victoria’s reign (1837–1901) — reinterpreted here as a restrained medallion defined by proportion, balance, and material presence. Rather than replicating the mechanism, the design distils the typology into a quiet, contemporary object that sits close to the body.

Existing between artefact and everyday wear, the pendant invites meaning to accumulate through use rather than ornament. Its circular form is reduced and intentional, conceived to age naturally over time.
